Why I'm Running
Today's Democratic Party does not fully reflect its voters โ especially at the local level. My goal is to foster a local party that actively engages with its community and encourages people from all backgrounds to step up and run.
Too many voters have lost faith in local offices, even though these races are the most impactful. Most people don't even know what the MCDCC is. It's time to change that.
We must increase public transparency and engage everyone so we can build a stronger, more equitable Democratic Party for Montgomery County.
Support the Campaign"If we want to build a Democratic Party that works for all, we must invest in and support the future of our party."โ Samir Ahmed
The Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee is the governing body of MoCo's Democratic Party. Its members are elected by registered Democrats like you โ yet most voters don't know it exists. Samir wants to change that.
